The InStudio Art Trail is a self drive art trail visiting the studios and exhibition spaces of the region’s exciting artists 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, 18th and 19th August.
The trail is featuring artists from the Hampton and Crow’s Nest area. In addition to the home studios, exhibition and working spaces of the featured artists, the exhibition ‘Ceremony’ by Toowoomba artist Dan Elborne will be on display at the Crows Nest Regional Gallery.
The Crows Nest Community Arts & Crafts will also be hosting a variety of fascinating craft demonstrations by their talented members.
In the Crow’s Nest district there are national parks, lakes and scenic lookouts, art and craft stores, antiques, museums and much more. For further information on what to see and do as well as accommodation options take a look at www.crowsnest.info.
Art trailing can be hungry work. There a number of refreshment options in Crows Nest (Bakery, Dingers Seafood, Grand Old Crow Hotel, The Nest Café, Ravens Roost Café and the Hidden Gem Café at the Crows Nest Caravan Park) and in Hampton (Emeraude Bistro, Hampton Store).
Or bring a picnic and relax in Centenary Park or Bullocky’s Rest, both in
Crows Nest, or Chapman Park in Hampton.
InStudio Art Trail is a free event organised by the Crow’s Nest Community Arts & Crafts. We acknowledge the generous funding assistance from the Crow’s Nest & Highfields Community Branches of Heritage Bank and the support from the Toowoomba Regional Council
