Saturday the 24th September is the Darling Downs Model Railway Club Inc. Sale Day at the Model Railway Museum & Display Centre in Toowoomba Showgrounds.
We are open to the public from 10am until 2pm, the Sale is between 12noon and 2pm, outside these sale times there are items available that are on consignment. There is quite a lot of stock already on hand, who knows what may show up. We will have a Sausage Sizzle for lunch and hot and cold drinks are available.
An item of interest to some will be the complete Bradford Exchange Peter Brock Collector set in HO Scale, this set has all the original packing, all Certificates and appears to never have been used, $800.00 is the asking price for the complete set (Negotiable).
Don’t forget to place an entry in the FREE Spot The Sponsor Competition where not one, but TWO Family passes to the Ipswich Railway Workshops are up for grabs.
And remember, we wrap the Carnival of Trains up on Sunday the 25th September, open from 10am till 4pm, your last chance at the Spot The Sponsor Competition, consignment items will still be available.
There is plenty of parking at the venue, easy access, toilets close by and you will have the chance to see operating T, N and HO scale layouts as well as peruse the Museum Memorabilia.
