Toowoomba Hospice Catches Footy Fever!

The Toowoomba Hospice has arranged a bus to take footy fans down for the BIG game between the Brisbane Broncos and the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Friday 3rd May 2013.

Mark Munro gets behind the Bunnies whilst Graham Barron and Alicia Trimingham-Turl take on his Challenge with a friendly wager

Promotions and Fundraising Manager Mr. Mark Munro said he and the Director of Nursing Mrs. Alicia Trimingham-Turl, as well as the Chairman of the Toowoomba Hospice Association Mr. Graham Barron OAM are going head to head. As Graham and Alicia are huge fans of the Broncos. I will support the Bunnies for this game as I like to be naughty!”Mr. Munro also said he will put a $50.00 bet that the Bunnies will win and if they lose I will donate it to the Hospice I would like to challenge the Director of Nursing and The Chairman to do the same for the Broncos.”

The Bus trip is $60.00 per person which includes entry to the game, the bus will be leaving the Hospice at 4.00pm SHARP, those who are interested can call Jodie or Mark at the Hospice on 07 4659 8500, there will be some raffles and prizes to give away on the night.

Toowoomba Hospice is a not-for-profit, community facility, caring for people with a terminal illness and their families, at no cost. The Hospice is located in O’Quinn Street and needs to raise valuable funds to keep the free service running.
