Toowoomba’s first annual Buddy Walk will be held on Sunday, 10th October. Do you know someone who has Down syndrome? Then this is the day for you!
Bring your friends and family and come and show your support for the members of our community who have Down syndrome. Join us on October 10 to launch Down syndrome Awareness Week, at the large gazebo (near the playground) in Laurel Bank Park, Toowoomba.
A $5 donation is all you need to join in and take a leisurely walk around the beautiful gardens of Laurel Bank Park. A barbecue will be provided at the end of the walk by Assert Services Inc.
For more information, please contact Toni Mitchell on 0438 327 984 or the Down Syndrome Association of Queensland on 07 3356 6655.
