Australia’s best-known train buff and former Deputy Prime Minister, Tim Fischer was in Toowoomba on Saturday 21st July to officially open DownSteam Tourist Railway and Museum’s Restoration Shed.
Approximately 200 people attended the function, but many others took the opportunity of viewing the restored rolling stock and other exhibits at the Museum’s premises on the corner of Ball and Cambooya Streets, Drayton.
