Sunny Cowgirls and Liam Brew Appearing at Highfields Cultural Centre Friday, 28th October

The Sunny Cowgirls are no newcomers to the country music scene. They’ve had 7 consecutive #1 video clips on Foxtel/Austar’s Country Music Channel. Their Summer Tour continues to produce sell-out shows. Sisters Sophie & Celeste aka The Sunny Cowgirls were the recipient of the 2011 Telstra Horizon Award – the award recognises established artists who have made significant inroads into the industry.

As well as their national tour, the girls recently appeared at the Gympie Music Muster & the Deni Ute Muster and tonight (28th October) in Highfields at the Cultural Centre.

Supporting the girls will be Sunshine Coast native, Liam Brew. Liam was named 2009 Toyota Star Maker (country music’s equivalent to Australian Idol,  and released his debut album, Wild Heart” in August 2009. The album earned Liam a finalist placement in the 2010 CMAA Country Music Awards Of Australia in the New Talent Of The Year” category. Wild Heart” has produced two Top Ten video clips on The Country Music Channel and Top Ten singles.

The Sunny Cowgirls and Liam Brew tonight at Highfields Cultural Centre – doors open at 7.30pm, show starts at 8pm – Liam is on first.
