Dr Jim Thompson, CEO, Qld Museum Network, Chrissie Goldrick, Editor in Chief of Australian Geographic and Ruth Wilson, Assistant Director, National Museum of Australia at the launch of “A Portrait of Australia”

Stories told through the lens of Australian Geographic, is a stunning collection of photographs from the acclaimed 30-year anniversary book “A Portrait of Australia”, now exhibited at Cobb+Co Museum in Lindsay Street, Toowoomba.

Celebrating the bush, the outback, the coast and the people who live there, the exhibition transports you to some of the most rugged and remote parts of the country, where you can discover the remarkable stories of ordinary Australians.

Cobb+Co Museum is the lead venue for this travelling exhibition from the National Museum of Australia developed in collaboration with Australian Geographic.
