Pittsworth Student Wins Family Week Brochure Design Competition

Grade 6 student at Pittsworth State School, Lindsay Hayes, has been announced as winner in the ecomputing Family Week Brochure Design Competition at the launch of Family Week at Toowoomba City Hall.

Cr Ros Scotney with Lindsay Hayes at the presentation in Toowoomba. Lindsay's prize is an Ipod Nano, and Pittsworth State School will receive an Acer Notebook.

Entries in the competition were of a very high standard, and placegetters are as follows.

2nd: Karina Kidman,  Grade 6, Toowoomba Christian College (Student – Ipod Nano & School – Ipad 2 WiFi 16gb)

3rd: Jasmine Green, Grade 5, Glenvale State School (Student – Ipod Nano & School – 23″ LCD Acer Touchscreen)

Highly Commended: Aaron Coutts, Grade 7, Toowoomba Christian College (2 movie tickets and $50 Grand Central Voucher.
