NAIDOC Week Flag Raising At Toowoomba Police Station

Queensland Police Service, Toowoomba will be holding a Naidoc recognition flag raising at the station at 10.00am on Wednesday 9^th July.

In keeping with this year’s theme of recognising Indigenous people who have served in the military, there will be a serving Aboriginal officer from 7 Signals section, a Cadet from 13 Army Cadet Unit and Police Liaison Officer Glen Waters, a former full time and now reservist Army officer.

This will be followed by a morning tea with a display of artefacts both of Aboriginal Culture and some local Aboriginal people who served meritoriously in both WW1 & WW2.
