Buying a little lavender bear will go a long way towards helping leukaemia patients this month.
The Leukaemia Foundation’s annual Lavender Appeal is being held throughout June and the Foundation is hoping to raise $200,000 for patients and their families living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders.
Lavender merchandise including Liam the collectable lavender teddy bear, pens, notepads, pot-pourri and soaps will be available at several local businesses including CUA branches, Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology centres, selected QML offices and other participating businesses.
A few gold coins will make a real difference to patients and their families whose lives have been devastated by blood cancer.
Please call 1800 620 420 for more information.
