Julie Boyce Exhibition

Over 60 paintings by Julie Boyce  are being displayed from 1st to the 30th of September at Village View Gallery, Highfields Pioneer Village. All works are on sale.

'Early in the Morning'
'Broken Bottles'

Julie, who was brought up on a 27,500 acre property in the Charleville area, paints in the ‘naive’ style in acrylics and watercolours. She says her works reflect her passion for  the Australian bush and country living. Her interest in art began at an early age.  Julie remembers her first drawings were in mulga dust, progressing to crayons, with her work ‘Fishing on the Banks of the Warrego’  being exhibited at the local show.

Julie retains her love of the bush and open spaces, and now resides on a 1,200 acre property at Cressbrook Creek.

The Village View Gallery is open from 10am to 4.00pm daily. Entry to the Gallery is free, though normal fees apply to explore the many historic buildings and displays at Highfields Pioneer Village.
