The Rangeville Space Pilots’ Club is a club of youngsters who meet weekly for fun activities and to enjoy science and hands-on stuff like craft, model-making, and even model aerospace rockets!
And of course in making rockets, they need to launch them. So, this Saturday 18th., under clear skies that’s what they’ll do…. and you the public are welcome to come and join them after 1:30pm to see and hear these rockets go. Countdown with us each time a rocket is launched into the wide blue yonder.
Some rockets are made by the Space Pilot boys but some also by their sisters and brothers, but each lovingly-crafted rocket is special. Even a dozen or so of the senior boys, the teenagers, will be launching the results of their design-and-build projects.! Maybe some of them dream that one day they will be in the Space Station singing and strumming on a guitar !
So, do come, join us and be part of this unique event . Bring a folding chair. Refreshments are available. There’s toilets onsite too. It’s all free! Thats all happening at the T.A.R.M.A.C model-aircraft field on the New England Highway and just 10km south of Toowoomba … go through Hodgsonvale and the field is on your right just past the Mill, The Outlook. See you there.
