Tickets are selling fast for this weekends’ Sing ‘N’ Swing to benefit the Toowoomba Hospice. Come hear the music play this weekend with the Toowoomba Municipal Brass Band, The Accidentals vocal ensemble and The Toowoomba School of Dance!
Promotions and Fundraising Manager Mr Mark Munro, says this year’s fundraising concert will be staged at the University of Southern Queensland’s Arts Theatre. You will hear music from Irving Berlin, Mercer & Mancini to Spencer Williams. “So if you enjoy the sounds of big brass, vibrant vocals and dynamic dance based on the music of the rich swing era this is one concert not to be missed!”
Money raised will go to Toowoomba Hospice located in O’Quinn street to help continue the professional palliative care service for the terminally ill on the Darling Downs and Lockyer Valley.
Mr Munro acknowledged the wonderful commitment from everyone who has helped to put this years Sing ‘N’ Swing together “Its a huge commitment and I know the band and choir have been rehearsing since the beginning of the year and it will be a “Bold’N”Brassy show!”
Sing’N’Swing will be held at the University of Southern Queensland’s Arts Theatre on Friday March 25th at 7.30pm; Saturday March 26th at 2pm and on Sunday March 27th at 2pm.
Tickets are $20 for Adults, $15 for concession or students and $55 for a family.
