Samantha Gluer has been named the 2011 Queensland Country Life Miss Showgirl at the Royal Queensland Show. She hails from Crow’s Nest and was the Darling Downs representative in the statewide competition.
A former student of Fairholme College in Toowoomba, Samantha is 19 years of age and is currently studying for a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at QUT.
Runner up is 21 year old Laura McKay from the Gold Coast representing the South East Queensland Division.
There was a total of 11 finalists in the competition.
