DownsSteam Tourist Railway and Museum are inviting you to their annual Australia Day celebrations to be held at the railway precinct in Cambooya Street, Drayton.
Take the opportunity to inspect the new working diesel locomotive and enjoy watching the children taking a fun ride on a railway trolley car. Other attractions include face painting, live steam exhibits, Toowoomba Municipal Band, tours and so much more. Refreshments available from the Melbourne tram.
Flag raising and welcome takes place at 11am followed by official naming ceremonies. Trolley rides start at 12noon. Gates open at 10am on Tuesday, 26th January. Admission by gold coin donation.
