The Darling Downs District Crime Prevention Unit will be conducting armed robbery information sessions for Darling Downs business owners in the next two weeks.
Sessions will include a presentation from Crime Prevention on armed hold up awareness, information from detectives on the investigation process, and practical advice on scene awareness and preservation for forensic police.
Sessions are aimed at enabling businesses to reduce the risk of armed robbery, to assist in preserving personal safety should an incident occur, and to provide information that can assist police in the investigation of armed robbery incidents.
Two sessions are being conducted:
Gatton RSL on Tuesday November 12, and
Jacaranda Room, Grand Central Shopping Centre, Toowoomba on Tuesday November 19.
Sessions run from 6pm until 7.30pm and light refreshments will be available.
Numbers are limited so to register attendance please email DCPC.Toowoomba@police.qld.gov.au with the business name and the number of people planning to attend.
For enquiries or to register for either session, contact Crime Prevention –
