“Bush verse” is becoming more and more popular – it is great fun, full of laughs and a modern take on the old art form pioneered by ‘Banjo’, Lawson and Mackellar. Highfields Pioneer Village Volunteers are looking forward to serving ‘Poetry’ with Breakfast on Sunday, 23rd of October for their annual Bush Poet’s Breakfast featuring entertainment by renowned Poet Noel Stallard from 7:30 to 9:30am.
Bring your ‘writing gear’ too, because Noel Stallard will also run a free poetry writing workshop at 10:30am and poets from amateurs to professionals will be able to perform their own poetry to the crowd! The Budding Poet Competition has prizes to the value of $50! The Poets Breakfast will raise money for the local Guides and Scouts and the Highfields Pioneer Village.
