There were plenty of people out to farewell this year’s Carnival of Flowers at USQ StreetFEST, Stepping back in time with the biggest street party of the year, remembering the 1950s and ’60s
USQ StreetFest saw Margaret Street, Toowoomba come alive with an exciting mix of live entertainment, rock’n’roll dancing, relaxed dining and plenty to see and do with a car show, market stalls and many cafes and restaurants in the area. The Toowoomba City Rollers also laced up their skates for the Roller Derby Heats, providing plenty of entertainment for spectators.
The musical program featured the Buddy Holly Show, whilst Elvis dusted off his blue suede shoes to wow the crowds and Australia’s premier Motown Sensations, The Supreme Dreams also took to the stage.
